Job Title: Field Sales Representative Detailed Job Description: This position is a sales position, participants will be trained to identify pest problems, suggest proper treatment methods and sell the Employer service plan in residential neighborhoods. This position requires that participants spend 6 to 8 hours a day in the field canvassing suburban neighborhoods selling the Employer Pest Control service. Sales Reps will meet at the Employer office each morning at 11:00am for a one hour correlation and training meeting. During these daily meetings Employer will provide trainings on product knowledge and sales strategies. At the termination of the meeting Sales Reps will leave for their assigned neighborhoods to begin canvassing for sales. Sales Reps are expected to canvass 6 to 8 hours per day; Sales Reps are expected to make 100 to 150 door to door contacts during this 6 to 8 hour period. Sales Reps will be transported to their assigned neighborhoods in a company van driven by the Sales Manager. Sales Reps will maintain communications with the Sales Manager throughout the day while they are canvassing. Sales Reps will be transported from the sales area to the Employer office at 8:00pm each evening. After arriving in the office Sales Reps will complete required paperwork for all sales made that day. Sales Reps should be finished with each days work by 9:00pm. This schedule is followed Monday through Friday, on Saturdays Sales Reps will report to the office at 9:00am and finish work at 6:00pm. Sundays are reserved as a day off. Starting Wage: $1500 per month, this is a draw on commissions that will be paid to the Sales Reps on the 5th ($750) and 20th ($750) of each month. The balance of commissions earned will be paid to participants in September with the exception of a small amount that will be held until December to cover for possible cancellations on sales made. Estimated Earnings: $5000 per month; last year our average participant made $22,000 during the four month summer. Our highest earning Sales Rep made $196,000 during his summer break. Hours per week: 45 to 50 Pay Frequency: We pay on the 5th and 20th of each month Housing: Employer will provide housing to Sales Reps for $350 per month. This housing deduction will be held out of the draw checks ($175 per check) that are issued on the 5th and 20th of each month. Sales Reps will receive furnished apartments in new apartment communities complete with amenities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball courts, exercise facilities, laundry facilities and convenient access to shopping and dinning. Area Assignments: Participants may be assigned to the following cities. Las Vegas, Phoenix, Houston, Austin, Nashville, St Louis, Kansas City, Washington DC, Baltimore, Richmond, Virginia Beach and Atlanta. Area assignments are made on a first come first serve basis. Employer will attempt to assign groups of friends to the same cities. Language Skills: Participants must be fluent in the English language in order to qualify for this position.
