Position: HMP/118 - Building Regulations,
Part L Engineers
Location: London
Role: We are seeking a wide range of talented and enthusiastic
technical engineers to work in our Building Regulations Group.
They will gain extensive experience on a wide variety of challenging
buildings, including some of the largest, high-rise developments
in the UK, whilst creating communications links with authorities
and design teams alike.
Qualifications: A technical qualification, related to the
subject matter will be required for the more senior positions,
whilst a relevant understanding of building fabric constructions
and associated M & E design is desired for intermediate
positions.
Experience: Necessary experience will be dependant on the
position being applied for. Intermediate engineers will require
an awareness of the application and role of Part L1 &
L2, whilst the Senior engineers will be able to take this
through to full consultation and application of both approved
documents.
Senior applicants must also have knowledge of the EU Energy
Performance in Buildings directive and the forthcoming proposals
for amendments to Part L..
In addition proficient use of a building performance computer
modelling software package and an approved BRE SAP software
package will be required.
Remuneration: Remuneration will be commensurate with the position
and/or qualifications and potential demonstrated by the applicant.
